The SARAH durable 7.2KV HRC Current-limiting Fuse, a core protective component, adopts HRC current-limiting technology and integrates three core functions: rapid short-circuit cut-off, overload thermal melting, and maintenance isolation. The product operates based on pure mechanical thermal effect (without reliance on a secondary power source), providing stable protection for equipment such as transformers, lines, switch cabinets, and reactive power compensation devices under extreme conditions. Core Function

1. When a short circuit fault occurs in the line or equipment, the fuse instantly melts due to its HRC current-limiting characteristic, quickly cutting off the fault current (the rated breaking current can reach up to 50kA), effectively suppressing the peak value of the short circuit current, preventing the fault from spreading to related equipment such as transformers and switch cabinets, and reducing the risk of system damage.

2. When the load operates continuously beyond the rated current, the fuse gradually heats up and melts due to the thermal accumulation effect, precisely protecting the transformer, lines, and switch cabinets from being burned out due to overload. It is particularly suitable for the continuous operation safety of equipment such as transformers and reactors in 11-36kV systems that are sensitive to overload.

3. After melting, a clear break point is formed, which meets the maintenance requirements stipulated in the "Electric Power Safety Work Procedures" of "power off, electrical testing, and installation of grounding wires", ensuring the safety of maintenance personnel and simplifying the power-off maintenance process.

4. 7.2KV HRC Current-limiting Fuse is triggered by pure mechanical thermal effect and does not rely on secondary power supply or control circuit. It can still operate stably even in extreme conditions (such as power failure or control circuit failure), ensuring that the high-voltage system is "protected even when there is no electricity".

Main Applications

1. Adapted for the main protection on the incoming side of 10kV, 20kV, and 35kV oil-immersed/dry-type transformers. It covers the XRNP (current-limiting type) and XRNT (high-breaking capacity type) series, effectively protecting the transformers from insulation breakdown and winding burnout caused by short circuits and overloads.
